The September Special is here "Ok, you guys have asked for this one quite a bit...so here it is"
The "M.U.K."
Yep, the big brother to the Necessary Necker is here. Now, let me explain the name. We all know George W. Sears used Nessmuk as a pen name so we want to tie in part of that seeing as the design is such, so we came up with M.U.K. which stands for Modern Utility Knife. Get it? This new knife for us has an over all length of 9", as compared to 5 3/4" of the little one. A cutting edge of 4" and a handle of about 5" will give you a nice purchase on the scales. We are using our proven 01 tool steel in 1/8" thickness. Now this is a prototype in the pictures...the knife will be available in green, black and natural micarta (Natural micarta varies in its darkness) the difference will be that, the lanyard hole will be the larger 3/8" lined lanyard hole, and the sheath will be something new as well. We will have a leather pouch sheath but this will incorporate a fire steel loop on the back and a Kydex loop around the mouth for some adjustable retention of the knife. This is a joint idea with JRE industries, makers of our Bush Crafter sheaths. This works well to blend the new and old together for our M.U.K., a revised version of a proven, practical knife designed many years ago. We hope you love it as much as we do. This knife, with custom sheath will sell for $100, plus S/H. As with all of our monthly specials, this is an exclusive knife in limited quantities so hurry! Never had a Nessmuk designed knife? This is a great chance to discover why this design has been around so long plus, you will be getting it at a discount since it's starting life here as the September special. We will have a video announcement of the M.U.K. up very soon as well! This knife is being made and will deliver by the end of the month. Thank you for considering our knives.
Here is the new sheath with retention and lower grommet for adding gear. God Bless, The BHK Family
